What to expect
A 6-hour spin and plug trip gives you the ideal window to fish multiple tide phases while aggressively covering prime backcountry structure. You’ll spend the day working tight mangrove shorelines, deadfalls, and dark pockets—walking topwaters across morning current seams for violent snook, redfish, and hard-charging jack crevalle blowups, and skipping soft plastics on jigs and weedless hooks deep into shaded roots. The extra time allows you to thoroughly pick apart creek drop-offs and undercut banks for trout and snapper, intercept cruising jacks in the channels, and push out to outer mangrove points to fire plugs and swimbaits.
What to bring
Polarized sunglasses are a must for spotting fish, and lightweight long-sleeve shirts, pants, a hat, and sunscreen are strongly recommended for sun protection. All fly rods, reels, and custom flies are provided on board. An iced-down cooler stocked with bottled waters is ready for the day, with plenty of extra room for any snacks or drinks you would like to bring.
