What to expect
A spin trip tailored around artificial lures is all about fast-paced casting, aggressive strikes, and covering productive water efficiently. You’ll spend the day working tight against mangrove shorelines, deadfalls, and dark root pockets—walking topwater plugs across early morning current points for explosive surface blowups, and skipping soft plastics on jigs and weedless hooks deep into shaded overhangs for snook and redfish. As the tide shifts, you'll bounce jigs off deeper creek drop-offs and undercut banks for seatrout and snapper, with shots at firing larger profile plugs and swimbaits to rolling tarpon along the outer mangrove points.
What to bring
Polarized sunglasses are a must for spotting fish, and lightweight long-sleeve shirts, pants, a hat, and sunscreen are strongly recommended for sun protection. All fly rods, reels, and custom flies are provided on board. An iced-down cooler stocked with bottled waters is ready for the day, with plenty of extra room for any snacks or drinks you would like to bring.
