What to expect
An 8-hour fly trip gives you the full day to adapt across complete tide cycles, run deeper into the Ten Thousand Islands backcountry, and thoroughly target every bite window. You’ll work off the bow picking apart miles of tight mangrove shorelines, deadfalls, and undercut banks punching baitfish patterns and topwater flies into shaded root pockets for explosive snook and redfish ambush strikes. The extended time lets you capitalize on incoming and outgoing water for snapper and trout in the creeks, with dedicated time to stalk open bays, flats, and outside points for rolling tarpon when high sun offers peak sight-fishing visibility.
What to bring
Polarized sunglasses are a must for spotting fish, and lightweight long-sleeve shirts, pants, a hat, and sunscreen are strongly recommended for sun protection. All fly rods, reels, and custom flies are provided on board. An iced-down cooler stocked with bottled waters is ready for the day, with plenty of extra room for any snacks or drinks you would like to bring.
