Coast To Crest Carolina Llc
Jack Smith, known as Jack, is a fly fishing guide based in Chapel Hill, NC who spends much of his season on the Crystal Coast out of 70 West Marina in Morehead City. He guides inshore flats and sandbar water across the Crystal Coast, Cape Fear Coast, Down East areas of North Carolina and the Paradise Coast out of Chokoloskee, FL. Jack brings a calm, patient approach to the water and focuses on clear, practical instruction—casting fundamentals, line management, sight-fishing on saltgrass and sand, and reading flats—to help anglers of all levels build skill and confidence. He runs a 2022 Drake Outlaw bay boat (17 ft, capacity 3) for inshore outings and fishes primarily with a Mauser Fly Fishing Waterman 9' fast-action 8wt, Hatch Iconic reel, and Airflo Superflo Flats floating line. He rigs flies for sight-fishing and can provide client gear as needed. Whether you’re new to the fly or sharpening existing skills, Jack aims to leave you more capable, more confident, and more connected to the rhythm of the water. Coast to Crest Carolina LLC.

WEATHER POLICY All trips proceed rain or shine and are subject to the sole judgment of the guide regarding safety and viability. Weather conditions including, but not limited to, rain, wind, cloud cover, temperature changes, or other natural conditions do not constitute valid grounds for cancellation by the client. The guide alone will determine if conditions are unsafe. Only in the event that the guide cancels the trip due to unsafe conditions will the client be offered a reschedule or refund, as determined solely by the guide. If the client elects to cancel or not participate due to perceived or actual weather conditions when the guide has deemed conditions safe, all payments will be forfeited and standard cancellation terms will apply. No guarantees are made regarding weather conditions, water conditions, or fishing success.
CANCELLATION POLICY All bookings are final and subject to the terms outlined herein. Cancellations made more than [X] days prior to the scheduled trip date may, at the sole discretion of the guide, be eligible for a partial refund, less any deposits, fees, or non-recoverable costs. Cancellations made within [X] days of the scheduled trip date will result in forfeiture of all payments made, including deposits. No-shows, late arrivals that result in a shortened or missed trip, or failure to meet agreed departure times will be treated as cancellations and are non-refundable under any circumstances. No refunds will be issued for early termination of a trip by the client for any reason. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and are not valid until acknowledged by the guide. The guide reserves the right to strictly enforce this policy without exception.
